Our Regulatory Position
The compounds we supply are research chemicals: reference materials intended for laboratory study, analytical method development, and preclinical scientific research. They are not medicines. They are not listed or registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), and we do not supply, advertise, or represent them as therapeutic goods within the meaning of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth).
We make no claims, express or implied, about any effect of any compound on the human body, and no content on this website should be read as a medical, therapeutic, or health claim. Specifications, certificates of analysis, and references to scientific literature exist to identify the compound and verify its quality for research purposes only.
What We Require of Purchasers
Every order requires an affirmative declaration that the purchaser:
- Is a qualified researcher, licensed professional, or institutional buyer
- Is acquiring the product solely for lawful laboratory research
- Understands the product is not for human consumption, not for therapeutic use, and not TGA-registered
- Will not administer the product to any human or animal, or supply it to any person for that purpose
Declarations are recorded against each order. We refuse or cancel orders where we have reason to believe the declaration is untrue, and we do not supply to purchasers who indicate any intention of personal use.
Quality Assurance
- Every batch is verified by independent third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis before sale
- A Certificate of Analysis for the current batch is published on the product page and included with every order
- Products are stored and shipped under conditions consistent with their stated stability profile
- Each vial is labelled with the compound name, quantity, batch reference, and the statements "Research Use Only" and "Not for Human Use"
Applicable Law
The supply, possession, and use of research compounds in Australia is governed by Commonwealth, state, and territory legislation, including the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth), the Poisons Standard (SUSMP), and state and territory Poisons and drugs legislation. Regulatory classification can differ between states and can change. Purchasers are responsible for confirming that their acquisition, possession, and use of any compound is lawful in their jurisdiction and within their institution's policies.
Safety
Research compounds should be handled only by trained personnel in an appropriately equipped laboratory, using suitable personal protective equipment and institutional safety controls. A Safety Data Sheet for the compound is available on request at orders@helyxresearch.com.au.
Manufacturing and Supply
Helyx Research Australia does not manufacture compounds. Products are sourced from specialist third-party manufacturers and are independently verified by third-party analytical testing before sale. Batch documentation, including the Certificate of Analysis, identifies the tested batch supplied.
No Liability for Misuse
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helyx Research Australia accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or consequence of any kind arising from the misuse, improper handling, improper storage, or unlawful use of any product, including any use contrary to its research-only designation. The purchaser accepts full responsibility for verifying that their acquisition, possession, and use of any product is lawful in their jurisdiction, and indemnifies us against any claim arising from their breach of our Terms of Supply.
Age Restriction
We do not sell to persons under 18 years of age under any circumstances. Every order requires an affirmative declaration that the purchaser is aged 18 or over.
